The Pronghorn also boards BLM (Bureau of Land Management) lands on the Eastside for excellent enjoyment on public lands. This location is rural, but only a short distance from Del Norte, Monte Vista, South Fork, and Alamosa. Del Norte has several restaurants, a grocery store, and The Rio Grande Hospital. A 45-minute drive will have you at Wolf Creek Ski Area. Fun isn’t in short supply in this part of Colorado. The Rio Grande River runs thru the Northside of Del Norte, hiking/trekking, skiing, snowmobiling, camping, ATV trails that will keep you busy for years to come, beautiful lakes, and of course hunting – BTW that’s an abbreviated list of activities.
