This Post and Beam home is located on beautiful Honnedaga Lake in the Adirondack League Club. Access to this property is by boat only, there are no roads to this area of the lake. Before purchasing the property, the buyer must be accepted for membership by the Club and all purchases must be cash. There is an membership fee as well as the annual dues. This extremely well built home sits on sturdy piers and the home and guest cottage are just off the water's edge with gorgeous views of the lake. Two immense, stone fireplaces, one in each dwelling, provide heat and ambiance in the cool weather. The Forest Lodge or clubhouse offers meals, beverages, has a tennis and pickleball court, a small grocery and dock spaces to gather. There are many amenities provided by the Club. It opens at the end of May and closes by mid-October. THe home features a well equipped kitchen with granite counters, 2 propane refrigerators, gas range and plenty of storage. This home is off the grid, electricity is provided by a generator run just once a day for one hour which provides power for batteries that run the house during the rest of the day.
