This Forest Service cabin sits on the American River, with views of the Crystal Range and Pyramid Peak. The Pony Express trail is just out the back, and Lovers Leap is a short bit west. Swimming holes in the river nearby, and fishing in both the river and the creek. If you want some night life or town experiences, South Lake Tahoe is just 20 minutes away. There is a large deck for great entertaining and BBQing after a fun filled day of exploring. The cabin has been loved and has a great feel to it. The space is well used and very functional. Sleeps 4 with the couch/trundle in the living room.
